Did takeaway the food was subpar it took them an hour and 45 minutes to even get my food out to me, and the servers were rude and inconsiderate of anything, the order they brought out was wrong and they refused to change the order, refund, or remake the food, horrible service, food, and experience DO JOT RECCOMEND

This meal was so plain and not flavorful at all. The sushi was loose and not rolled properly, and the taste was incredibly bland. The katsu Don bowl was plain no sauce. The rice was not fresh. For how much we spent I was really disappointed.

The food was absolutely top quality. I has Katsu chicken curry and it was outstanding. The place you collect it from is really amazingly creepy. It seems to be the bar of a mostly disused hotel. I loved it.

Absolutely beautiful owner Victor and his team and family here made our evening meal an absolute delight. They catered to our every need and made us feel so welcome. The owner Victor made time to speak to us and get to know us and asked us about our food preferences. I can't explain how comfortable we felt and how delighted we were with the service.
The food was incredible! We will definitely be back again. Highly recommended.

Best sushi I’ve ever had in my life. High quality ingredients, so worth every penny. The food was presented beautifully and could tell there was a lot of effort and experience put into it.
We also noticed the drinks were very cheap in comparison to most other places! The staff were very friendly and the chef made an effort to smile at us and wave us goodbye. Very pleasant place. ❤️

Very good and friendly chef I really enjoyed it! Each of meals was delicious. Sushi - big portions of Futomaki 8 pieces for female definitely enough!! Lovely and fresh nigiri as well decent chunks 😊 definitely will come back to order again.

We won't be eating here again, severe food poisoning warning. I don't tend to post many reviews, but I decided to do this one. My husband and I have ordered from here many times. After ordering dinner this past Sunday, I ended up in the emergency room with severe food poisoning. This wasn't just a little upset stomach, this was unrelenting and only after six hours of severe symptoms did I go into the hospital. This was the worst pain I have felt, as well as violent, nonstop vomiting. It was without question, the food from green box.

Green Box is best Japanese food I’ve been able to find within an hours drive of RAF Lakenheath. The staff was super helpful in helping me figure out what I wanted and the food was served very quickly after ordering.

The place has no heating. The food is not that great. The noodles look to be nothing like real romaine noddles. The dumplings were over cooked and look to be store bought. No music or tvs. Good parking.

Having the appearance of Japanese food doesn't make it taste like Japanese food.
I had tonkotsu ramen and gyozas delivered home.
The lack of tonkotsu flavour of the ramen soup was disappointing, as it was the overcooked boiled egg.
The gyozas came with no sauce at all. The deep fried gyozas must be some kind of westernize adapted cooking, as they usually are boiled or sautee. Definitely always include the characteristic sauce. Not here.

Very misleading photos, the very first picture of the red bar looking nice is nothing like the green box that I visited in Brandon.
There was only about 3 tables available by the bar and the rest of the restaurant had other tables piled with paperwork and boxes, not what you want to see when going out for a meal.
The food was sub par in my opinion, for a restaurant specialising in sushi and ramen. The ramen broth was okay, not very well seasoned and not the best bone broth I’ve had, perhaps it wasn’t cooked overnight? I had the char Sui pork ramen broth, the pork was not good, it was merely boiled and it had no char sui marinade on the pork either, lacking taste. I had mostly noodles in my ramen and it didn’t have any things that I would associate with a good ramen, such as different kinds of mushrooms, vegetables, and even a well poached egg on the side. When I am paying £12 for a bowl of ramen, I expect it to be outstanding, not just less than average, sorry!
Besides the whole meal coming to around £80 for 2 people, I was very disappointed with the quality to price ratio. I wouldn’t mind eating there if they charged 60% less for the quality that is being served.
Lastly, I was very unhappy when we parked our car in the car park around the back to find that in the far corner, there was a massive pile of rubbish and thrown out furniture, things like this will not make customers return and unfortunately due to these experiences, I will not be a returning customer.

Sushi is always lovely but got vegetable spring rolls for the first time and they were way over fried. Looks like they were re-fried. Expected a lot better from Green Box :(

Very delicious food. I mean a really good food. If you want to have a nice lunch you must to visit this place for sure.
Amazing menu to choose anything from sushi to nice worming up soup. Even kids were surprised.
The chicken was very moist.
Recommended.

The food was insanely authentic!!! We had gotten the pork katsu curry, chicken gyozas, crab rangoon, and some sushi and everything was absolutely amazing. The customer service was also phenomenal and the owner was very knowledgeable. I will definitely be a regular here.

Wouldn't advise ordering food from here ordered food turned. Up cold and some of it raw when I called up I then get abuse from the owner so I really wouldn't order from here unless you enjoy food poisoning and getting shouted at down the phone

I was really disappointed in the sushi. And apparently the prices have risen from the menu on their website, and I cannot tell you why they’re as high as they are. There is better sushi at a better price not ten minutes up the road. I also got the veggie spring rolls and they were both over cooked in places and under cooked in places with a filling that didn’t seem fresh. The bowl my partner got was apparently good so they get 2 stars from us for that. But I would recommend a longer drive to somewhere more authentic with better foot and prices. The people I saw were American or English and not particularly friendly. Really bummed because I used to love the Chinese place they had here 1 or 2 years ago.

I ordered tempura prawn ramen at £10.80. Not a huge amount you think. There was half an egg, 6 niblets of corn clearly from a tin and lots of noodles with a few bean sprouts thrown in and a couple of green bits with no taste at all. There were no Japanese fish cakes or spring onions. Someone needs to teach them how to make tempura batter. This was limp, floppy nothing crispy about it at all and 6 prawns that just didn’t taste of prawns. I confess it wasn’t worth £5 let alone £10.80. Very disappointed indeed.
